If no stocks to short, do you look to buy low and sell when the spike comes?
It is difficult to find stocks to short. When you think there is a spike coming, why not buy and try to sell near the height of the spike, is this a good option for someone who can not find stocks to short?
I do sometimes buy the breakouts...had AENY, formerly TRET, on the breakout at 3, but its tough since SEC halt is always possible (which pushes prices down 50%+) and the promoters are not trustworthy so the stock can literally collapse within minutes/hours leaving you no way to escape
